Official Statement on Switch 2 System Version 21.0.0 Compatibility with JSAUX Display Adapters

We have received user reports that after updating to Nintendo Switch 2 System Version 21.0.0, some devices may experience video output compatibility issues when using the JSAUX Dock Adapter for Switch 2 (CV0087 & CV0088). As soon as we learned about the issue we started to research its causes and work towards a solution; we’re happy to report it is fixed now. 

What Happened

Our engineering team conducted an immediate overnight investigation and confirmed that the issue was triggered by changes made in Nintendo’s USB-C handshake protocol and/or power management mechanisms introduced in this update.

This is not related to product quality. The technical root cause has been fully identified.

Firmware Fix Available Now

We have successfully developed and released a firmware update for the affected models that solves de compatibility problem:

• CV0087 – 3-in-1 Dock Adapter
• CV0088 – 2-in-1 TV Adapter

After completing the update, your adapter will resume normal operation with Switch 2 System Version 21.0.0.
