ROG Ally用バッテリー＆サーマルアップグレードキット（バックプレート付き）

If you’re looking to turn your ROG Ally into a total beast, this Battery & Thermal Upgrade Kit is the way to go. Here’s the lowdown:

The Build & Install
If you’ve got even a little bit of technical DIY skill, the install is a breeze. The quality is honestly top-notch—it feels way more premium than those sketchy AliExpress versions. Everything just feels "right." (despite AliExpress 74wh variants not coming with good heat dissipation / metal plate and fixings will degrade much faster).

The New Back Plate
The fitment is spot on. I was worried it might mess with my Skull & Co. Grip Case, but it actually fits better now. It’s a tighter, more solid fit with absolutely zero movement or creaking.
Performance

* Battery: This is the star of the show. It’s a massive improvement over stock. No more living next to a wall outlet.

* Thermals: It’s not a night-and-day difference, but it definitely helps. It’s a small, steady improvement that keeps things just a bit cooler during heavy sessions.

The Heft
Total weight is sitting around 830g–840g now. You’ll definitely feel the extra weight in your hands, but for the gains you're getting, it is totally worth it.
Verdict: If you want that "Pro" handheld feel and actually want to play away from a charger, just do it.

Let's start with the amazing. Which is the battery. The major flaw in my OG Ally is now fixed.

All the rest is a bit "meh" the extra heatsink does lift the thermal load a bit. But not enough to really help out. That thing is now back in the box in favor of a m.2 2280 mod.

The new back plate is also fine. But due to a little misalignment I damaged the screw points l. This might be mostly my fault but still the damage is there.

The kit is very complete. All screws are there and a few extra but I don't think that was really needed. I would rather have the cheaper kit.

It did take around 3 weeks to arrive and the tracking wasn't ideal or should I say non existent but when the battery finally arrived I was more than pleased. The installation is easy enough and the added heat sink does actually lower temps which is always a benefit. The paper view is the battery though, before I would always have worries about battery percentage while using my xreal glasses, I could only get an hour or so with them. Now I hardly even find myself thinking about low battery as the battery is essentially doubled, I can easily get 4 hours while using the xreal glasses on desktop at 15w. Highly recommend just be patient with the postage as I said it takes a while.

Realmente, trata-se de um upgrade obrigatório já que a bateria original é ridícula. Parece ser um produto de alta qualidade, vide a caixa e a própria construção da bateria. Além disso, a carcaça traseira também é boa, evitando adaptações na carcaça original. Para os brasileiros: único jeito de comprar e utilizando um serviço de redirecionamento, como a uscloser (que eu usei) porém fica muito caro pois você terá que pagar imposto de importação. A não ser que você esteja comprando agora no segundo semestre de 2026 onde foi retirado o imposto de 20% e você se arrisque a declarar um valor abaixo de 50 dólares... de qualquer forma, para mim valeu MUITO o upgrade visto que corrige o maior problema do Rog Ally que é a bateria ridícula.
