Currently, we do not offer the Joy-Con portion of the PC0114 Split Protective Case separately. However, you can consider the PC0117 protective case as an alternative.
Q2. If I use only the middle part of the PC0114 Split Protective Case and do not attach the Joy-Con protective case, will the front cover still attach securely? Will it be loose?

The joy con protectors are very nice, pretty hefty, feels quality. The actual switch back case is soooo flimsy. Offers no protection, and doesnt snap on super well, comes off the bottom of the switch pretty easy. Front protector isnt awful. You can tell it isnt a dbrand case but leaves some to be desired. The joycon cases are very nice though. Makes holding the switch much more ergonomic.

We’d like to share a bit more about the design: the back case was intentionally made thinner and lighter so that the console can fit more easily into the docking station without interference. For installation, please make sure to align the bottom of the back case with the rubber feet of your Switch, and then press gently until you feel it snap securely into place.

Everything was good, but after using it for like a month, the Joy-Con grip top part broke. The built quality was not able to handle my basic day-to-day travel. I placed it in my backpack to travel, and it couldn't handle it. It will be nice to buy only the Joy-Con replacement, but for now, I will use crazy glue to fix the problem.

It has everything I want in a S2 case. Grips, a front cover with space for games, access to the kickstand. I'm no longer worried about my s2 getting scratched in my bag. The only minor annoyance is the bottom part on the main body back cover doesn't always wanna stay on. It's thin and weak, but I could probably use some double sided tape or something. Great product otherwise. I like how the game cartridges don't fall out but are easy enough to pickup. Keep up the great work :)
I'm somebody that plays a lot of handheld games and also likes to bring my consoles with me on trips/commutes. I am not kidding or exaggerating when I say that JSAUX has been the most impressive, fairly priced, and quickest shipping supplier for Switch 2 accessories (that I've found). I love the Split Protective Case, and it's a mainstay on my S2. It's a little tight to fit in the dock, but it DOES dock. The front cover is great for throwing your system into a sling bag/backpack, I bring mine on bike rides, work commutes, day trips, vacations... The grips are 100× more comfortable than the stock Joycon 2 experience. Also! If you get the JSAUX charging grip, the ergonomic grips from those ALSO work with the Split Protective Case (and still passes the one hand hold test). Overall, JSAUX has been amazing to me and my console, and I eagerly await any new accessories they're cooking up (like the Everyday Case with Travel Cover, please let me get one already JSAUX!!)
ALSO! The travel cover fits stick grips! I use the JSAUX stick grips as well. You'll see it all in my attached images :)
I confidently can say JSAUX is my new go to.
