A. To ensure the ROG Ally X can properly activate 30W Turbo Mode, please follow the correct connection order.
Recommended connection order:First connect the OmniCentro Charger Dock to the ROG Ally X, then connect external peripherals such as a USB flash drive or HDMI display. This ensures 30W Turbo Mode functions correctly.
Important notes:If external peripherals (such as a USB drive or HDMI display) are connected before the ROG Ally X, the system will prioritize power delivery to those devices (e.g., storage devices or video controller chips). As a result, the handheld may only receive the remaining power and may be unable to enter 30W Turbo Mode.
For the best performance and power delivery experience, always connect the ROG Ally X first.
A. Yes. OmniCentro supportsSwitch 2, Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, and the updated Switch model. It also works with Switch Lite for charging, but please note that Switch Lite does not support video output, so TV mode is not available.
A. When used with the official charger, OmniCentro can provideup to 30W (15V/2A) to Switch 2. This is in line with the charging level supported by the official dock during normal use.
A. For Switch 2, OmniCentro supports up to 4K@60Hz with 10-bit RGB output. For Switch and Switch OLED, it supports up to 1080p@60Hz with 8-bit RGB output. Actual output depends on your console, display, and cable setup.
A. No. A USB-A to USB-C cable is not supported for proper docking performance. Because USB-A power is too limited, it may prevent the console from charging correctly and can also cause video output to fail. For best results, use a proper USB-C PD charger.
A. Yes. OmniCentro also works with other compatible USB-C devices, allowing charging and video output for supported laptops, tablets, phones, and handhelds.
A. The USB-A port supports Switch 2 Camera when used with a compatible USB-A to USB-C female adapter. Joy-Con controllers cannot be charged directly through USB-A, but they can be charged when connected through a Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip. Third-party wired controllers, including Xbox controllers, are not supported by Switch 2 through the dock, so wireless Bluetooth controllers are recommended instead.

This is the perfect all in one solution for docking. It charges, and docks to your tv. The only downside is the USB C cable that it comes with is a bit short. But it works perfect!!! You will need to have or buy your own HDMI cable though.
This is an excellent travel dock. Works well with the switch 2, but also a macbook air, or your phone when you want to stream in your hotel, bur don't want to enter your passwords. Highly recommended.
