What Customers Are Saying on JSAUX.com
Over the past few weeks, I’ve tested three different grips/cases for my Switch 2 and wanted to share some impressions. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!
Savage Raven NeoGrip – Very comfortable, dockable, and it comes with multiple grip sizes that all feel great in hand. Its downsides: the Joy-Cons can’t be detached, and only the smallest grips fit into the carrying case — which happens to be the least comfortable option.
Savage Raven StandGrip + EDC Case – A one-piece plastic case that fits perfectly in the carrying bag. The grip feels excellent, though it can’t be docked. (It’s quite easy to take the console out and put it back in, though.) So far, I’ve used this one the most — it gives a very premium feeling.
JSAUX Split Protective Case – This one can be docked (it’s a snug fit, but it works fine), and the Joy-Cons are fully removable. Some people mentioned it might scratch the Joy-Cons, but I personally didn’t experience any issue. It’s also surprisingly comfortable to hold for long sessions.
In the end, I decided to stick with the JSAUX case because I often take my Switch in and out of the dock, and the detachable Joy-Cons are essential for me. The build quality is excellent — even though I’d say the Savage Raven feels slightly more “premium,” the practicality and comfort of the JSAUX make it my favorite overall.
For context: with the original Switch I never used any grips, as I found the console itself comfortable enough. But with the Switch 2, I definitely felt that I needed something extra for a more ergonomic handheld experience — and the JSAUX case fits that role perfectly.
It's no surprise that Nintendo favored portability over portable ergonomics with the Original switch, and even though the Switch 2 is bigger, it 's still hard for adult hands to grip onto the flat surface of the console.
Thanks to JSAUX who sell this wonderful protective split case for 30$ that is dockable and let you remove the joy-vons on and off, I will never gave to remove the case ever.
Need to leave the house? Just clip on the front cover and you can throw it in you bad without worrying about scuffing or scratching your 450$ gaming console.
On top of that amazing flexibility, JSAUX made their joy-con grips super comfortable. I can now play for more than 20 minutes without getting hand cramps, make it 2-3 hours no problem.
Thanks to this company I didn't know about before the Switch 2 came out, I now have the best possible experience with the console.
I also use their matte screen protector and it's absolutely superb. I am wondering if I should now use their thumb grips, or stick with the Savage Raven one I am currently using. If JSAUX send their thumb grips to me for review, I might just have to switch to them and recommend them to my friends and family as well.
Long live to JSAUX, I already made 3 of my friends buy their products (2 Switch 2 owners, and 1 Asus ROG Ally owner), and will keep sharing the info with others.
Perfect for those that are tight on money as these are half the of the D brand ones. Obviously not as durable and them but the grips feel perfect for me and I can fit it in my dock without the need for a dock adapter. My only minor issue with it was the need to add some small bits of double sided tape on the edges of the system case as the clips don't seem to hold very much on the top and bottom. It would keep unclipping at times, but double sided tape fixed it perfectly.
After looking at dbrand and Genki, this became the clear choice. It's an amazing product and the customer service is top notch. I will definitely be buying more from Jsaux.
I got both this case and the screen protector from JSaux. They come with awesome guides, so it’s very easy to put the covers on. The grips make the Joycons functional for me, as I have carpal tunnel and it can be painful to use them bare. Would definitely recommend.
