And judging by its breathtaking success on Kickstarter, where it raised more than $176,000, our team was able to anticipate the needs of tomorrow's professionals!

We began this journey with the Omnicase and the original FlipGo, our portable monitor with dual touchscreen. In short, it’s a lightweight companion that fits in any backpack and offers the advantage of flexible placement in relation to your laptop. Thanks to magnetic mounts, all included in the box, you can easily stack it vertically for cascade reading or extend the screen horizontally in just a few clicks. Last year, FlipGo was recognized as one of the Top 50 Kickstarter Projects of the Year, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and community-focused design.

 

FlipGo Horizon Vs FlipGo: What Does It Change?

FlipGo Horizon refines the concept of its predecessor by providing greater flexibility and ecosystem integration. While the FlipGo consists of a dual screen that can’t be detached, the FlipGo Horizon features two independent displays joined by a robust, foldable Snap Stand. By positioning them on either side of the laptop screen, you get an horizontal workstation that is natural to the eye and streamlines your workflow. This solution is ideal for jobs that require a lot of concentration or involve multitasking.

Using FlipGo Horizon is as easy as connecting both screens to your computer via USB-C port, and it goes without saying that it’s fully compatible with Windows and macOS. Also, it's been optimized to run smoothly even with a large number of windows and tabs on screen. Display multiple sources of information, read them as you take notes or write your report and have your mail inbox at a glance, all at once. It’s also very convenient to attend meetings with clients while reading their briefings, sharing a video or presentation, or showing off a product demo. 



Back to the Snap Stand, there are more changes worth mentioning! It features a Snap-Lock system that ensures the safety of your devices while allowing you to instantly switch between portrait and landscape orientation. This is the best solution we could develop for users who expected the first FlipGo to attach more securely to its magnetic mount. It took us a while, but you’ll definitely notice this great improvement!

FlipGo Horizon will be available in standard and Pro versions, with the Snap Stand Pro offering more features – for starters, it has two new setup options. Place the two FlipGo Horizon screens on top of each other to activate Stack Mode and show content in a cascade, or extend your desktop just a bit with a single extra screen in Solo Mode. We’re sure you’ll appreciate them when working from a small workplace (i.e., small coffee tables or seat trays), or if you like to keep things simple when the workload is light.

Additionally, the Snap Stand Pro integrates 7 USB-C ports to connect both displays, a power cord and any other devices you might need during a regular workday. Additionally, you’ll find an Ethernet port, as in all JSAUX docking stations.

The modularity of FlipGo Horizon makes it easily adaptable to almost any need. The screen mounts can be converted into rails to add extra features – such is the case of the SnapMag, a module for iPhone with MagSafe support and its own cold shoe mount for accessories like cameras and small microphones. It was the first optional reward unlocked after reaching out the Kickstarter campaign’s main goal, and can be added to your base contribution on the platform.

FlipGo Horizon comes with a complete set of protective and travel accessories to offer you the best working experience whenever you go. Each basic box includes its own hard case, a 65w charger with US, EU and UK socket adapters, 2 mini-HDMI cables and 2 USB-C 3.2 cables. Additionally to the aforementioned SnapMag module, you can get more addons on Kickstarter such as the 12-in-1 docking station Omnicase 2 Pro, a 20,000 mAh power bank and a pack of 90º USB-C adapters.
