Instructions for Using An External Expansion Disk on SteamDeck

First Step, format & partition settings for the new hard disk or the unrecognized hard disk, as shown below

1.Select the Desktop Mode on Steam Deck
2.Find the KDE Partition Manager in Steam and open it（Path: System- KDE Partition Manager)

3. Select the external hard disk to start new partition with the corresponding hard disk format

4.Label the new partition and click OK, and finally click Apply

5. After completing the hard disk partition and formatting, the external hard disk will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. Click Mount and Open, and the "SteamLibrary" folder will be automatically created.

Second Step, create a new STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS to your Steam Deck platform

1. Enter the Settings of Steam game platform

2.click "STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS" from "Downloads" to manage storage

3.Click "+" in Storage Manager, ADD A NEW STEAM LIBRARY FOLDER

4.Complete the ADD A NEW STEAM LIBRARY FOLDER setup
