- It is recommended to use a 100W charger to better experience ROG Ally’s high-performance 30W mode.
- Open the off mode through the OpenRGB software and the entire LED will be turned off, Then turn on other modes to light up the LED; if you press the Hub touch button for 2 seconds, all modes will be turned off (you need to press and hold for two seconds to turn on the Hub light effect switch, Then you can debug other modes through OpenRGB.
- If you encounter any operational issues with your docking station, please ensure that your USB-C cable is correctly connected to the designated 'IN-USB-C' port. Right, let's get something out of the way early. Yes, the holder for your ROG Ally is a bit flimsy like others have said. It's not a massively tight fit. But is it going to break due to the weight? Absolutely not. Just don't start trying to swing on it. It's not that hard is it?
Now the rest of it. It is exactly what I need it to be. It was a really struggle to find a dock under £120 that has a 120hz output to my monitor, most only supply 60hz. This has on in both HDMI and DP. Check. 2 high-speed usb-a ports, and one high-speed usb-c port (running at 10gbps for those external SSD drives you will inevitably want with these handhelds). Check. SD slots for cards on the top (didn't use these, so can't comment. RGB lighting which is so in fashion nowadays. Not for me, really dislike them, but you can turn them off on this at the touch of a button on top of the dock. Check. A PD socket so you can run a 100w charger through it and get that all-important power to enable your 30w turbo speed from the ROG CPU.
All-in-all, an excellent accompaniment to your handheld set-up.
I have the docking station for my ROG Ally and it works amazing. I actually have two Jsaux docking stations and no complaints here. The LED looks really good also. With the Xbox ROG coming out though I don’t know if this docking station will work well just because of the handles on the XBox ROG might be too big to set on the docking station and will bottom out. Here is hoping it will still work.
Because of a bug that affects the picture and the sound once a 1080p is selected, this could have been an excellent product, and because of that, unfortunately I cannot give it a higher rating.
Issue was addressed to the support which were very kind.
The issue was acknowledged, and we agreed on a partial refund.
However, the issues were never solved ever since, and no official word for any kind of upcoming firmware updates to resolve them.
I purchase this product HB1201S clear color 12 port rgb docking station pro 1st September tru amazon and i barely used this product because of the issue then i realize to go with the warranty, which was for the meantime i used my ugreen dock (perfect no issue). Till now while ill using the jsaux dock the issue are still there and i already raised the issue tru amazon cant send the video that's why i go through this site attached file is the evidence video. Please jsaux do something about this
